The Theological Institute at Saint John’s Seminary offers scholarships to students through its own resources. Both degree and Certificate students are eligible. These scholarships include a 50% tuition remission for eligible Catholic school teachers. For more information on these scholarships, please contact the director of the program that interests you.
In addition, for those serving the Church in the Archdiocese of Boston through parishes or other ministries and through the New Evangelization, the Archdiocese has established the Promise for Tomorrow Scholarship Fund, out of the generosity of donors in the Boston area. These scholarships assist those Theological Institute students in need of financial assistance, both in the degree and Certificate programs.
In addition to need-based aid, the Promise for Tomorrow Scholarship Fund offers two merit-based scholarships. These two scholarships are awarded once a year, in May, and apply for the length of the student’s academic studies for the MAM or MTS degrees. These scholarships are:

You will also need to submit a paper copy of the FAFSA and a recommendation from your pastor (or head of a Catholic shrine or campus ministry).
RE-APPLICATIONS:
Please note that need-based scholarships are not renewed automatically each year. Students must re-apply annually. To do so, please fill out the following form, which should be submitted with the original scholarship application essay, current transcript, original parish recommendation and updated FAFSA.
